Sir Shina Peters - Shinamania

Born Oluwashina Akanbi Peters on 30th May 1958, Sir Shina Peters began his career playing the guitar for General Prince Adekunle’s band. He later joined forces with Juju Maestro Segun Adewale to form the group “Sir Shina Adewale”. They released several albums through the late 70’s & early 80s. The group had a controversial break-up and Shina went on to form his own band "Sir Shina Peters & His International Stars". His debut solo album release “Ace (Afro-Juju Series 1)” in 1989 went double platinum and was the career breakthrough which brought Sir Shina Peters back into the limelight. "Ace" was a musical fusion between Juju and Afro beat; a rhythmic collaboration which pierced Ethnic, Cultural and language barriers in Nigeria. The sophomore album “Shinamania (Afro-Juju Series 2)” went on to further prove that Sir Shina Peters was no one hit wonder. Sir Shina Peters is still regarded as the creator of a well respected music genre (Afro Juju) that exists in its own class till this day. He currently has 16 album releases to his credit.
Sir Shina Peters also called "SSP" has received numerous awards and recognition for his unparalleled prowess in the art of Writing, Composition, Choreography and Musical Ability. 4th & Inchez - Point Of View

4th & Inchez is an urban Hip hop group, which consists of 3 members, “Andre” aka Verse, “Lawrence” aka KB & “Yinka aka Kizza. The trio, originally from Brooklyn, New York (currently residing in Houston, Texas) are all of Nigerian descent. What makes 4th & Inchez unique is the diversity of each group member. These guys cannot only rap, but they also come up with some pretty cool hooks. I was really impressed with their lyrics and their delivery. Their type of music can be simply described as “East Coast meets the Dirty South with an ethnic twist”. Three young men with varied life experiences, but all with backgrounds & influences stemming from Nigeria, have found a way to create cool tracks. They are currently receiving heavy rotation on radio stations in the Houston area. They have performed at several live shows in Houston, Dallas, & Beaumont, opening for major artists such as Rick Ross, Fabulous, Dorrough, Gucci Mane & many more. I believe, given the right opportunities, these guys have a lot to offer. They have produced 2 mix tapes titled “No Fly Zone”, and “Lag-City”. Here is their latest EP titled “Point of View”.
